Rovana PLUMB is the Romanian Minister of labour, family, social protection and elderly and forests, appointed on 5 March 2014. She attended the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and graduated with diploma 'Increasing labour productivity via the organization of work'. She has a PhD title in industrial systems management.
She served as a member of the Parliament of Romania from 2004 to 2007 and the European Parliament from 2009 to 2012.
